I wanted to take some time to answer our two most popular questions in our  Kroger Couponing Facebook Group!

Q: What is a Kroger Mega Sale?

A: A Kroger Mega Sale, is a promotion that typically lasts for two weeks. This promotion is buy x number of products and save x amount of money. For example, the most current mega sale is a Buy 5 Products Save $5.

Q: How does a Kroger Mega Sale work:

A: A Kroger Mega Sale works by you buying the required amount of included items, and you save a set amount of money. So, for example the current mega sale is Buy 5 products Save $5. So, you could buy five of the same mega sale item, or you could buy five different mega sale items. And, you will get $5 off your order. You can buy as many items as you like, but you must buy them in the quantity that meets the promotion. So, for this current promotion you must buy in multiples of five. So, you could buy 5, 10, 15 items, but you can’t buy 4 or 9. You are welcome to use coupons on mega sale items, but remember to stick to the coupon policy and only use 5 like coupons.

Q: How do I know what the best deals to buy are?

A:  This is where we come in.   Here at Mama’s On A Budget our main goal is to help you save money!  So, we take the time to tell you the best deals to buy for each sale.  There are a few ways we do this for you.   First, I invite to watch our live videos each week on our Facebook page.  We do a top deals at Kroger live video every Wednesday at NOON eastern time zone.   In this video we talk about all the best deals at Kroger that week.  Plus, I am there to answer any questions that you have.   We also post the top deals every week for each region.  That helps you get more localize top deals to help you for your area!

Q: How should I prepare for a mega sale?

A:   The best way to prepare for a mega sale is to take the time to look over our match-ups and lists of awesome deals and then follow those.  Clip your coupons and make sure that you list is organize.  When are in the store is not the time to try to get our coupons organized! Trust me you want to learn from my mistakes!   🙂

Q: How long is a mega sale?

A: Mega Sales are always two weeks long.

Q: How do I keep up with how many mega sale items that I buy?

A:  I recommend two different way to keep with your items and pick the one that works best for you.   The first way that I recommend keeping up with your items is by putting them in the “seat” of your cart.   Once you have a group of however many you need for that mega sale (for example 5) then move to the larger portion of your cart.  So, that way you know that you are only moving full sets.  You could always use a shopping basket in your cart to help with this.   The second way I recommend is to bring a pen and paper along and make tally marks on your paper every time you add a mega item to your cart.  That way you have it written down right in front of you.    What ways do you use to organize your mega sale items?
